I'm Britney Jones, and I've had the privilege of serving as the Center Director at M.I.L.L.S. Child Development Center since 2019. With over 17 years of experience in the field of early childhood education, I hold various accreditations and certifications that reflect my dedication to this profession. My commitment to continuous learning drives me to seek new ways to enhance the quality of education I provide to the children entrusted to my care.

 

As both an educator and a mother, I deeply understand the importance of creating a caring and nurturing environment, particularly within a preschool setting. My passion for working with students and families began during my junior year in high school, and since then, I've been drawn to helping shape young minds into exceptional individuals. Growing up as the oldest of six siblings provided me with valuable skills that have allowed me to fulfill my dream of teaching young children.

 

Throughout my career, I have served as a lead teacher, specializing in working with children aged 1 to 5 years old. I've also been involved in the public-school system, working with students both before and after regular school hours. Beyond my professional life, I am an active member of Mt. Sinai MB Church, where I serve as a Sunday school teacher for young children and the director of our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program.​
